Craig Jarchow was a Partner at Pine Brook Road Partners, an investment firm which focused on energy and financial services, where he served as an investor, board member and advisor to portfolio company CEOs. Mr. Jarchow has worked in the Upstream field for over 23 years, holding senior level positions at Amoco, Apache Corporation and First Reserve Corporation. Mr. Jarchow holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of Santa Barbara, California, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from MIT.
Jan L. Schott joined TG Natural Resources LLC as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February 2019. Ms. Schott was previously Chief Financial Officer for Texas Crude Energy LLC, a privately owned oil and gas company with assets in the Eagle Ford Shale, since October 2015. She also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: GDP) from May 2010 to September 2015. Ms. Schott joined Goodrich in 2007 and previously served as Vice President and Interim CFO and Vice President and Controller. Ms. Schott served in various accounting management positions with Apache Corporation from 1997 to 2006 both in Houston and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Prior to joining Apache, Ms. Schott was in public accounting with KPMG LLP from 1991 to 1997. Ms. Schott is a Certified Public Accountant and a Class of ’91 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.B.A in Accounting. Ms. Schott currently serves on the Board and as Audit Committee Chair for Firebird Energy Holdings LLC. Ms. Schott previously served on the Board and as Audit Committee Chair for the Houston Area Women’s Center.
Britt Dearman has over 35 years of operations, engineering and commercial upstream and midstream experience with senior managerial roles at Forest Oil, Apache and Amerada Hess Corporation. He was the head of operations for Forest’s largest region. Mr. Dearman played a key role in evaluating about 150 completed transactions totaling nearly $2.0 billion during his career. He has led new ventures activities, preparation of SEC reserves, and financial and strategic planning. He holds a B.S. from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Chris Migura was the former Chief Counsel at BG Group plc, Assistant General Counsel at Occidental Oil & Gas and Attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP. He is Board Certified in Oil, Gas & Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Chris holds a J.D. from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pensylvania.
Katsuhiro Ohbi, or “Ohbi”, joined TG Natural Resources LLC in August 2020 as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining the TG Natural Resources Executive Team, Ohbi served on the Board of TG Natural Resources and was Senior Vice President and technical VP of Tokyo Gas America Ltd. Upstream business. Ohbi joined Tokyo Gas in May 2017 and has served previously as Senior Petroleum Engineer and as Director for TG Barnett Resources, TG Eagle Ford Resources and TG East Texas Resources. Prior to joining Tokyo Gas, Ohbi served on the Board and Senior Vice President of Toyota Tsusho Wheatland Inc. in Calgary, Canada and served in a variety of technical positions with TOYOTA Tsusho Corporation in Tokyo, JOGMEC-Technology Research Center in Chiba Japan, INPEX Masela, LTD in Jakarta, Indonesia and Abu Dhabi Oil Co, Ltd. in UAE. Ohbi holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering from University of Tokyo.
Don Nguyen serves as our Chief Accounting Officer and Controller. Prior to joining TG Natural Resources, Mr. Nguyen served as VP of Accounting at Development Capital Resources. Mr. Nguyen also served as the Chief Accounting Officer at Fieldwood Energy and Lime Rock Resources. He started his career in Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services and Audit practices where he primarily focused on oil and gas clients. Mr. Nguyen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
Steve Campbell served in various operational roles during his career including facility, production, completion, and drilling engineering. He formed Chesapeake’s Barnett field operations and developed the surfactant package for EOG in Barnett combo play in Montague and Cooke counties in Texas. Mr Campbell also managed up to 6 frac spreads continuously and completed over 250 wells per year for 4 years in the Barnett. Mr. Campbell holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Peter Xia was the former Vice President of Finance at Patara Oil & Gas (Jefferies Capital Partners). He has completed over $6 billion in transactions in the upstream sector. Mr. Xia started his career as an investment banker with Jefferies & Company. He received his MBA from Rice University.
Cassi Squyres brings over 15 years of land management and acquisition experience across the lower 48 and has held various business development and senior land positions over the last 8 years. With TGNR, Ms. Squyres has leveraged her expertise by supporting the valuation and structuring of nearly a dozen completed transactions along with leading those due diligence efforts. Prior to joining TGNR, she held various land roles with Rosetta Resources and Patara Oil & Gas in both operations and new ventures. She holds a B.S. in Land Use with a Geology concentration from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Marco Soto joined TG Natural Resources LLC in November 2014. Mr. Soto has over 20 years of Land Administration experience. He has held advisory and managerial positions with various oil and gas Fortune 500 companies. He is an active guardsman with the Texas State Guard and holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix at Houston.
Chrissy Schaffner was appointed Director of Environment, Health and Safety in September 2020. Prior to her role as Director, Ms. Schaffner held various positions of increasing responsibility at TG Natural Resources LLC, previously Castleton Resources LLC, since 2014. Ms. Schaffner began her career as a National Environmental Policy Act consultant, specializing in energy projects. Ms. Schaffner holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado – Denver, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
Jared Field serves as our Director of Information Technology. Prior to joining TG Natural Resources, Mr. Field served as Director of Information Technology at Halcon Resources Corporation and has 15 years of experience leading technology departments in the upstream and midstream sectors. He received his M.B.A. from The University of Houston and B.S. in Information & Operations Management and B.A. in Business Management from Texas A&M University.
Amelia Hartman joined TGNR as Director of Oil and Gas Marketing in January 2021. Ms. Hartman previously served as Vice President of Oil and Gas Marketing for Hunt Oil Company, a privately held exploration and production company with global operations. In her 26 year tenure with Hunt, she was responsible for all aspects of marketing the company’s domestic U.S. production and leveraged that expertise to support the company’s worldwide projects. Prior to Hunt, Ms. Hartman worked for Apache Corporation and Amoco Production Company. Ms. Hartman holds a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from The University of St. Thomas.
