Carl Giesler

Carl Giesler most recently served as EVP and CFO for Southwestern Energy, prior to its combination with Chesapeake Energy to form Expand Energy. Prior to Southwestern, he served as CEO of Sandridge Energy, Jones Energy and, before that, Miller Energy Resources. Prior to his corporate leadership, Mr. Giesler worked in principal oil & gas investing with affiliates of Harbinger Group and AIG and in energy investment banking with Morgan Stanely. Mr. Giesler earned a J.D. from Harvard Law and B.A. from the University of Virginia. He is also a CFA^® charterholder.
