TG Natural Resources acquired its current East Texas and North Louisiana portfolio through multiple transactions starting in 2014 and continued to build its position through the acquisition of EDF’s East Texas assets in 2015. In 2016, TG Natural Resources acquired Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s Carthage upstream and midstream assets in East Texas for approximately $1 billion. In 2019, TG Natural Resources acquired Shell plc’s Haynesville shale assets for $150 million. In 2020, TG Natural Resources acquired Range Resources Corporation’s Terryville assets in North Louisiana for $245 million.
TG Natural Resources is taking advantage of several key macro and micro factors that support our strategic vision to be a consolidator of E&P assets in the Ark-La-Tex region. Stacked-pay potential in this region rivals that of the Permian Basin and exceeds that of other North American basins.
