Nicki Atkinson

Geoscience Manager

Nicki Atkinson is a geoscience leader with more than 30 years of experience in global exploration and development across conventional and unconventional assets. At TGNR, she leads geoscience strategy, overseeing reservoir characterization, geological modeling, and risk management. Her career includes senior roles at Diamondback Energy, Alta Resources and Southwestern Energy, where she directed complex shale programs, asset evaluations, and cross-functional teams. Nicki worked extensively across North America, the UK, and North Africa, delivering high-impact results in both technical and leadership capacities. She holds an MSc in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College London and is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in Texas.
